About the Surabaya Community Charity Bazaar
The focus and goal of the SCCB is to provide the community of Surabaya with a Charity Bazaar that encompasses the needs, interests and efforts of the Expatriate and Indonesian communities who share a common goal of fundraising, to support their individual social welfare programs, and all the while providing shoppers with a wide range of goods and services at a variety of price points.
The bazaar is the collaborative efforts of the Expat Women’s Association of Surabaya (EWAS), the Women’s International Club (WIC), Tulip Indonesia and Cleft Care Foundation. All of the aforementioned organizations have social welfare programs which they support by holding similar events such as bazaars and auctions throughout the year. This collaborative effort will help alleviate the need for many smaller events which consume a lot of energy and manpower, resulting in fewer profits.
